Who provides Padeleja

A free app

Padeleja is free to download and use, with no ads and no in-app purchases. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; these terms add to it.

Acceptable use of the live link

A live scoreboard can be seen by anyone who has its link. You are responsible for the names and team names you enter and for who you share the link with. When you use the live link, you agree not to:

• use names or team names that are offensive, hateful, unlawful or that impersonate someone;
• publish other people’s personal information without their permission;
• use the live scoreboard to harass, spam or mislead anyone;
• try to access, change or disrupt scoreboards that aren’t yours, or overload or misuse our systems or those of our providers.

We may remove any live scoreboard and block misuse, without notice.

Third-party services and hardware

Some features rely on other companies: Google Firebase for the live link and voice downloads, ElevenLabs for name audio, Apple Health for workouts, and Flic buttons (sold separately by Shortcut Labs). Their own terms apply to their services and products. We don’t control them and can’t guarantee they will always be available. If a provider changes or stops its service, the related feature may change or stop.

Health and safety

Padeleja is not a medical device. Heart rate and calorie figures come from Apple Watch and Apple Health; they are estimates, for information only. Look after yourself on court, and don’t let any device distract you during play.

Scores and results

Padeleja helps you keep score, but the players — or the referee — decide the score. We are not responsible for disputes about a point, a match or a result recorded in the app.

Your data

How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Your matches are stored on your device: export a backup regularly if they matter to you. We can’t recover data lost with a device or a deleted app.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, the Padeleja name and logo, and the voice packs belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or resell them, except where the law expressly allows it.

No warranty

Padeleja is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose — to the fullest extent permitted by law. This does not affect any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Padeleja. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes to the app and to these terms

We may update Padeleja, add or remove features, or stop offering it. We may also change these terms: the new version will be published on this page with a new date, and significant changes will be mentioned in the app’s update notes. If you keep using Padeleja after a change, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY — TO BE COMPLETED]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before its courts.
